Our partner, Horizon Organics, sponsored this fun treasure hunt. And we used their snacks for kids as the treasure at the end! The treasure we used was a rainbow and pot of gold – using Horizon’s Berry Medley Fruit Snacks (the “rainbow”) and Cheddar Snack Crackers (the “gold”).
You can print out the clues we used, or just use paper to make your own.

Here are the clues we used:
Write on a red card and hand to your child: Trying to rhyme orange is a strange thing, But look for that color under something that rings.
Write on an orange card and place by a phone or ringing toy: You found me, hooray! Next up is violet. Go find it near what you wear to go out for the day.
Write on a violet card and place by your child’s coat or shoes: You got it! You know what to do! Now by the couch look for something blue!
Write on a blue card and place by the couch: Yes! You found blue. Next, to find the color green, run to the place where you get clean.
Write on a green card and place by the bathtub: A leprechaun is a very lucky fellow. Go find your treasure under a table by the color yellow!
Write on yellow card and place under a table: Treasure!
With the treasure card, the kids got an easy snack they loved. I knew they loved the crackers, but it was the first time they had tried the berry fruit snacks. They were thrilled!
