We go through huge amounts of bananas in our house, and I’m constantly trying to come up with new ideas for banana snacks. It was a hot day, so I used flaked coconut as snow around a banana sled, to make the kids think of colder weather.
I had all the ingredients on hand:
-1 tbl plain yogurt
-1 tsp shredded coconut
I cut a triangular shaped wedge out of the top of the banana, which I then filled with the yogurt.
I drizzled a line of honey on the yogurt, and placed raisin “sledders” down the line of honey. I then sprinkled coconut flake “snow” all around the banana.
The kids were very happy with their banana sled, but my preschooler did ask where Santa was!
